LTD Customs makes the branded merch for The Muskoka Sauna Co, a sauna company with a showroom in Torrance, Ontario that builds Canadian white cedar barrel saunas and sells premium outdoor saunas and cold plunge tubs. Since November 2024 we've made their white luxury towels with an embroidered logo, wool felt sauna hats with two embroidered logos, black outdoor rubber sauna mats with the logo, embroidered hats, and pens and water bottles for a boat show.
Most merch lives in a closet. Theirs lives in a 90°C room, on a wet dock and in a hot wash. That changes every decision.
The brief
A sauna company sells heat, cedar and cold water. The merch has to belong in that world: things you use in and around a sauna, not things you get handed at a trade show and forget in a drawer.
Their logo is a square outline frame with THE MUSKOKA SAUNA CO. set in light geometric capitals inside it. The frame is the logo. Drop it and the words read like any sauna company, so the rule on every product was the same: the frame stays, at the same proportions, in thread, felt or rubber.
Built for the sauna
- Towels: thick white luxury towels with the framed logo embroidered in black thread near the corner. Embroidery, not print, because a towel goes through a hot wash every time it is used.
- Felt sauna hats: the traditional Finnish wool felt hat that keeps your head cooler in the heat, with two embroidered logos. Fully custom, made to their spec.
- Sauna mats: black outdoor rubber mats with the sauna logo, for the spot at the sauna door where wet feet, snow and pine needles all end up.
Ten premium snapbacks
Hats came first: embroidered hats in November 2024, cream and green "Sauna Society" hats with a front logo and side embroidery for a boat show in November 2025, and dad hats in 2026. For the next hat we built ten colourways of our premium 5-panel snapback from their palette of black, sand, forest green and ember orange (hex FF6400), every one with the framed logo embroidered on the front.
The pick: 03, forest green crown, sand brim, sand thread. It's the colour of the shoreline behind every one of their saunas. Sand thread on green keeps the thin frame crisp, where a dark thread would sink into the twill. And it sits right next to the cream and green Sauna Society hats they already wear, so the new hat looks like part of the family, not a rebrand.
The next drop: a tee and a jacket
For the team and the showroom, the same framed logo goes small on the left chest of a vintage-wash tee and a black zip jacket. Small, because on a sauna brand the product is the hero; the logo just signs it.
